Burpham Primary School is celebrating it's Centenary during 2008. They would like current and past pupils, staff, governors and volunteers to help us celebrate this wonderful anniversary. As events are organised they will be publicised on the School website as well as through FOBS (the old pupils association) and newsletters. What will be happening? The Centenary year will be launched with a Dinner Dance in March and a big Open Day in June when FOBS can come and visit, see the School at work, see the displays of children’s work and the history of the School. The PSG’s Summer Fair (end of June) will be themed to celebrate Burpham Primary School over the last 100 years. At the end of the year the school will be publishing a Centenary Book, which will include a history of the school with memories submitted by FOBS and the story of the Centenary Year. There will be other activities going on during the year and these will be publicised in due course. If you would like to be involved in helping to organise any part of the Centenary Celebrations then please let the school know: Tel - 01483 572510Write - Burpham Primary School, Burpham Lane, Burpham, Guildford, Surrey GU4 7LZ E-mail - info@burpham.surrey.sch.uk |
